Claude Como has been selected as one of the featured artists by Galerie du19M at the Mucem in May 2024. She masterfully uses oil paint, ceramics, resin, charcoal, and wool to explore her personal history. Her works captivate us with the vibrant forms created through the tufting of wool in a thousand colors. The walls are “climbed” by the proliferation of generously colored, graphic writing. Her art is endemic, prolific, protean, abundant, fertile, and expressive, with saturated colors and a delicate, organic universe where nature and thought engage in a dialogue between material and emptiness, rationality and poetry.
